Perasan People, Fat vs Skinny
Sometimes, things are just an observation.

Say Jane is on FBI's Top Ten Wanted List. If she is blind and has crooked teeth, her description will be "Tall, crooked teeth, blind." This is to ensure that Jane is caught. That is what you call purely factual, TRUE observations.

The FBI is not going "Jane is blind and has crooked teeth, let's point that out blatantly to the public and laugh at her crooked teeth and blindness!"

Similarly, if you are at a party and you are approached and asked "Hey, who is this girl named Wendy?" Would you answer her by pointing to a girl behind you, "Neh, that girl with the mole on her cheek is Wendy." ?

I am not going "Haha Wendy has a mole on her cheek I'm laughing at her!"

I am simply stating the truth. No adjectives whatsoever (i.e. big, hairy mole)

If someone referred to me as The Short Girl, I wouldn't mind. Because I know I'm short. What am I supposed to do, make people refer to me as The Tall Girl? I know they are simply stating the truth, which is I am lacking in height. So what? Short is beautiful. And they don't even mean it in a derogatory tone even ( I hope not.) They are simply acknowledging my description to the world.

If you say I am skinny, I am fine with it. If you say I am skinny and looks like a scarecrow, then I have a HUGE problem with your usage of adjectives and will be offended.

If you are sensitive about whatever flaw you have, I will apologize. If you have a huge scar from when your parents beat you up and I accidentally mention it, I will be very contrite. But if it's simply something like "That girl with the ice cream around her mouth" then no sorry for you la.

So, not everything is an insult. Sometimes, it simply means the HARD FACTS.

Another thing I am sick of is people criticising me for being skinny.

You know how fat is a taboo word? No one ever says someone is fat. Because it's a bitchy thing to do.

Then how come everyone, including my aunts and uncles, scold me for being thin? I can help it meh? I LIKE BEING THIN LA, SO? I call u FAT ok or not?

What's the difference even? Being fat is WAY better ok. At least when you're fat people care about your feelings. And plus the world is now full of obese people so nobody gives a SHIT. But if you are thin, people say you're anorexic or what lo.

DO you see all those XXXL boutiques made specially for fat people? Who says fat people cannot find clothes? It's thin people cannot find clothes la ok! There are no boutiques catering to XXS sizes. But then if you're XXS they cart you away to Anorexic Anonymous anyway so what's the point, better just go out naked don't shop la.

Fat people have it way better than skinny people. Skinny people have to be speculated, insulted, nagged at and have an extremely hard time going shopping. Fat people are usually cute, well-liked and everyone takes care of their feelings and always tells them they are not fat.

"Ena, why you so skinny! Eat more la!"

WHAT THE FUCK SO I LIKE BEING SKINNY! Why should I eat more? Why don't you ask fat people to eat less? To make you happy? Who are you to me to tell me I have to be fatter? I'm happy the way I am, you besong then just fuck off because I am not adjusting my diet to make you happier, anymore than I'm jumping off a building to make you happier. I'm not the donkey that tried to please everyone. I'm a skinny girl and I like it. DEAL WITH IT.

"Why you so skinny! You really should gain weight la, you got bones everywhere."

So? Jealous ka? You don't like looking at my bones, then don't look la. I apologize for being an eyesore, but I sure as hell won't be wearing long sleeves or gaining weight because you think my bones are hideous.

I don't like your smelly armpits wor. You should have an operation lasering off all the sweat glands in your armpits. If I ask you to do that, would you?

NO, YOU WOULD JUST TELL ME DON'T SMELL LA. If I don't give a fucking shit about your smelly armpits then don't you dare patronise me for being skinny. It' s my figure and my choice. If I don't like your short legs do I ask you to go skip rope?

"You look like a walking skeleton."

Is this somehow better than "You are a fat glop of pudge"? Some people think that saying these things are an indirect compliment to skinny people. Like, fat people will never get the same comments. Just like I'll never be called a fat glop of pudge so all fat people should feel damn special la?

It is not a compliment however indirect. It is not better than calling someone fat. It is on the same par. If I called someone fat, that person would tell me , "So?" and then the whole class will boycott me.

If I insult someone by saying " Aiyo you so skinny la. You look like a skeleton very thin la! Go eat more!" they would smile sheepishly and walk away. I know because I have been in that position.

GO MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS LA! IT IS VERY INSULTING OK! I AM SKINNY SO WHAT?!

The next time someone nags at me for being too skinny, I will BITE THEIR HEAD OFF BECAUSE THEY SHOULD FUCK OFF AND WATCH THEIR OWN BODIES.

Why is it right to insult someone for being skinny but not right to insult someone for being fat?

P/s: I can say I am skinny but YOU can't say it. I can say I can't stand my mum but YOU can't say you can't stand my mum. I can say my boyfriend is ugly but YOU certainly can't.

SO FUCK OFF IF YOU ARE FAT AND MAKE IT YOUR OWN PERSONAL MISSION TO INSULT EVERYONE SKINNIER THAN YOU.

FUCK OFF IF YOU ARE A SELF-RIGHTEOUS PRICK WHO FEELS THAT IT YOUR DIVINE RIGHT TO MAKE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S BODIES.

I am skinny so what? Live with it and shut your mouth up before I sodomize you with two cantaloupes and a measuring cylinder.
